The biopsy instrument is extended beyond the working channel in retrograde angulation (VE OD 6.2 mm). The forceps (OD 2.4 mm) (2c) is associated with an appreciably smaller angulation than the needle (needle sheath OD 1.8 mm) (2b) or aspiration catheter (OD 2.3 mm) (2a). The curvature in the catheter was shaped manually beforehand (2a).
