(A) No corrugation and non-convoluted internal elastic lamina were observed in the control group; (B) Severe vasospasm could be detected in the SAH group; (C) Representative images showing luminal narrowing, increased wall thickness, and corrugation of the tunica intima in SAH + vehicle group. (D-E) The BA cross-sectional area was significantly increased in the SAH+ CysC group which was dose-dependent.
