There is a vital tumour in the upper left image (A). The thermal effect is visible as a small area, which contains cells with cytoplasmic vacuolization (B) and as a coagulative necrosis with cytoplasmic eosinophilia, disruption of cellular membranes with blurred cytoplasmic borders, karyolysis, and nuclear pyknosis (C).
