Colored areas are those regions with a time series correlation relative to the SPL of P < 0.005 and a minimum cluster size of 405 mm3. The right superior temporal gyrus, right pars triangularis (inferior frontal gyrus/Broca’s area), right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, right insular cortex, bilateral pre-motor cortex, bilateral supplementary motor cortex, left fusiform gyrus, and left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex exhibited strong functional connectivity with the bilateral SPL.
