A Naïve H1339 cells were 48 h treated with 10 μM siRNA targeting Bax. As a result, the expression of Bax was reduced compared to naïve cells treated with non-targeting RNA. B Naïve H1339 cells with a reduced expression of Bax (naïve siRNA) and sham treated naïve H1339 cells (naïve ntRNA) were exposed to 0.5 μg/ml cisplatin for 3 h. No difference in the cisplatin-sensitivity could be observed.
