(B) The caecum was decompressed using an atraumatic 3-mm grasper (white cross) while it was being held with another 2-mm grasper (white star). (C) An endoloop device (white star) was placed proximal to the intended resection site. (D) Coagulation of the caecum to prevent any contamination (white star). (E) Resection of the caecum (white star) using 3-mm scissors. (F) Ligated and coagulated stump (white star), which was inspected to ensure there was sufficient closure and haemostasis.
