Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the head. (1–4) Abnormal lesions are visible in the corpus callosum, semi-oval centers, and the area below the frontal cortex. Contrast-enhanced MRI of the head shows enhanced intracranial lesions within the same areas. The lesions were hyperintense on fluid-attenuated inversion recovery and hypointense on diffusion-weighted imaging (5, 6)
