Map of FMR1 gene-specific PCR data in the male premutation carrier of Fragile X syndrome. The fluorescent primer PCR technique was used, which consisted of two reaction systems, namely, specific PCR containing the target region (a) and repeat-primed PCR containing CGG repeats (b). The data showed that the number of CGG repeats was 55, indicating a hemizygous mutation of FMR1 (NM_002024.5) in Fragile X syndrome.
