  2. *P value for the comparison of the baseline characteristics among four different TyG-WC index quartile groups. For continuous variables, except for CRP, one-way analysis of variance was used. The Kruskal–Wallis H test was used to compare serum CRP levels among the groups. For categorical variables, chi-square test was used. Significance was set at P < 0.05
